The same answer problem shows up differently for each team.

Engineering, product, support, and new hires each face a different version of the same bottleneck: institutional knowledge that exists but can't be accessed quickly enough.

Engineering teams

Find the architectural decision that was made before you joined.

Every engineering team accumulates a layer of undocumented reasoning: why the monolith wasn't split yet, why a deprecated API is still served, why a third-party library was chosen over an alternative. That reasoning exists in ticket comments and architecture discussions that predate most of the current team.

Corpussage indexes that historical context alongside current documentation, so engineers can ask why-questions and get cited answers instead of "ask the tech lead."

  • Architectural decision records with supporting Jira history
  • Cross-repo READMEs and issue discussions indexed together
  • Incident post-mortems surfaced when similar errors recur

Product teams

Know what was already explored before the last planning cycle.

Product decisions leave reasoning trails across PRDs, Slack channels, Linear cycles, and stakeholder reviews. By the time a feature comes back for a new planning cycle, most of the research has been repeated from scratch.

Corpussage surfaces previous exploration, relevant customer feedback threads, and competitive context that was documented but never collated.

  • Prior research and competitive analysis synthesis
  • Customer feedback patterns across support threads
  • Prior sprint retrospectives indexed with current planning

Customer support

Find the answer before the customer escalates.

The answer to most complex support questions exists somewhere in your organization. It's in a ticket comment from six months ago, in an internal FAQ page nobody updated, or in a Slack thread between engineers who solved the issue before.

Corpussage surfaces that tribal knowledge to support reps in seconds, reducing escalations that previously required a senior engineer to context-switch.

  • Internal knowledge base + engineering discussion indexed together
  • Previous resolution paths for similar issues
  • Product edge case documentation from engineering comments
Why does the bulk export fail with file sizes over 50MB?
The 50MB limit on bulk exports is a known gateway constraint introduced in the Q4 2025 infrastructure update. Engineering is tracking this in INFRA-5234. The workaround is to use the split export feature in the account settings.

New hire onboarding

Answer your own questions in your first week.

New hires spend their first weeks asking questions that every senior team member has answered 10 times before. Not because onboarding documentation is missing, but because it's scattered across 6 tools in inconsistent states.

With Corpussage, new hires can ask questions about the codebase, architecture, and processes and get cited answers without interrupting the team.

  • Codebase context without senior engineer interruptions
  • Process documentation synthesized from multiple sources
  • System design answers with supporting ADR citations
